Bring a token

Put a token already on pump.fun onto a Fuel route, so its fees pay for its AI from now on.

A token launched elsewhere on pump.fun can still pay for its AI. Bringing it sets its fee route once, with the same fee strategy as a launch, and its creator signs.

Prepare the import

Call POST /tokens/import with the token's mint and its creator: the wallet pump.fun allows to set its route. It takes the same preset, split and creator_fees_to as a launch.

TypeScript
const launch = await fuel.tokens.import({ mint, creator });

Fuel reads from the chain who may set the route, builds pump.fun's fee-sharing transaction with our 1 SOL fee, and checks it by simulation.

Sign and send

The creator's wallet signs it, as a launch (signWithWallet from @fuelpad/sdk/solana): send it yourself, or submit it with fuel.launches.submit(). The creator also pays pump.fun's rent for the route account, about 0.008 SOL.

Confirm

The import is a launch with kind: "import": wait for it with fuel.launches.wait(id) (or poll GET /launches/{id}), or listen for token.imported.

When a token can't come

An import is refused with import_refused when:

  • its fee route is set and locked already: pump.fun allows setting it once
  • it is not a pump.fun token, or pump.fun recorded no creator for it
  • it pays no creator fee to route: cashback tokens and holder rewards tokens
  • it left its bonding curve and has no PumpSwap pool. A token moving there now can be brought in a few minutes
